Q1.	Do I need to install the driver in Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista environment?
	Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista officially support USB device. Users do not need to install drivers in these OS besides Windows 98 and Windows 98SE.

Q2.	How do I know the exact capacity?
	The capacity is shown in "Megabyte" (same with Hard Disk Drive, 1MB = 1000KB). In Windows environment or DOS mode, 1MB equals to 1024 KB. Therefore 1GB is approximate 953MB.

Q5.	Can I use 32 bit RAMBUS with 16 bit RAMBUS together?
	No. Mixing 32 bit and 16 bit Rambus memory may seriously damaging your system. The 32 bit RIMM is equipped with two function keys to prevent this problem.

Q6.	Can I use PC100 DIMM Module with PC133 DIMM Module together?
	Yes. The system usually runs on the lower frequency when mixed memory is used. However, we do not recommend mixing the memory because it requires certain degree of technical knowledge.

Q7.	What is ECC memory? Does my motherboard support this type memory?
	ECC means 'Error Correction Code'. When a one-bit error occurs, ECC memory can automatically detect and correct the error to keep the system running. Please check motherboards suppliers for which models and brands support ECC memory.

Q8.	What is the function of the 8-pin IC on DIMM Module?
	It is a SPD (Serial Presence Detect) IC that works like the ID of memory module. It contains information of memory capacity, data access speed, CAS latency, and manufacturer details.

Q9.	Which one is better? CAS latency=2 or CAS latency=3?
	CAS latency =2 means that the data access is one cycle faster than CAS 3. Therefore CAS 2 is better.

Q10.	Why can not I power on Windows 98 after installing 2 pcs of 512MB memory?
	Windows 98 supports up to only 768 MB. Please use Windows NT, 2000, or XP if your memory capacity exceeds 768MB.

Q11.	Why does my memory fail the Norton memory test?
	The Norton memory test program will fail when system memory is over 256MB.

Q12.	Why does the system detect only half of the memory installed?
	Some older version motherboards do not support new memory. Therefore the system cannot detect correct memory capacity.

Q13.	Why does the system fail when I use DDR 400 memory modules on Intel 845 series motherboards?
	Intel 845 series motherboards support DDR266 and DDR333 only. The BIOS is not able to recognize DDR400 and therefore the system can not boot.

Q14.	7-in1 Embedded Card Reader unable to use after OS has upgraded to Windows XP SP2.
	This is a mother board compatibility issue with Windows XP SP2. There are MSI (MS-6734 Rev 1.0B, MS6741 ver. 1.0), Gigabyte (GA-8S661FMX-775, GA-8I915P-MF) and Intel (D865PERL) motherboard have this issue.

Q15.	The compatibility about the USB2.0 (1.1) Mega Steno Card Reader and USB1.1(2.0) motherboard.
	USB 2.0 Mega Steno Card Reader or motherboard can backward support USB 1.1 Mega Steno Card Reader or motherboard specification. However, due to the limitation of USB 1.1 Mega Steno Card Reader or motherboard, the read/write speed will be in USB 1.1 specification.

Q16.	Driver question about Internal Card Reader in Windows XP.
	Windows XP supports multiple USB Mass Storage Device, you may use Internal Card Reader by simply plug-and-play.
